There is birth of a Magnus Black in Corstorphine, 7 Nov 1680, to Magnus Black and Janet Ramsay,
a marriage of a Magnus Black in Edinburgh Parish 22 Dec 1681 to Margaret Smaile,
and children born to Magnus Black and Agnes Waldie, in Edinburgh parish including another Magnus bap. 16 Sep 1707 and again a Magnus bap. 10 Sep 1710. This may though have been another Magnus Black (unless he changed his trade) according to Edinburgh Guildry, as an entry in the Dean of Guild's accounts has for 1732, 'Dec 13th... to Agnes Waldie, relict of Magnus Black, vintner burges, 5s., of supply.'
